For the first time in Europe, hop producer Yakima Chief has provided access to Fresh Frozen Hops, fresh frozen hops in bloom.

This way of freezing hops preserves the delicate nuances of undried hops because it protects the cell wall and the entirety of the lupulin gland.

The main difference with the traditional way of freezing is that it maintains the physical aspect of the cone but also its aromatic profile.

 

Having been able to get our hands on this nugget, we opted for Azzaca and Mosaic type hops. And what other type of beer than a Double IPA to enhance this opportunity?!
