Blended beer (Triple Barrel Aged + Stout Barrel Aged)
Zythos was our first festival in 2019. So we decided to release a new beer especially for this year 2022.
We chose to blend a triple aged for 6 months in a Nadal Hainaut red wine barrel and a stout aged for 18 months in a Daumas Gaussac red wine barrel.
Notes of red wine are enhanced in the foreground, followed by notes of acidity, caramel and coffee. On the palate, its light body reveals all the complexity of this beer which goes very well with the sweet and acid side without forgetting all the malty notes of the two base beers.
